Powerpoint

In a powerpoint presentation, there's nothing worse than:
  • Agonizingly slow animation
  • Too much text
  • Text too small to read
  • The speaker reading word-for-word off the slides
  • Too many things squished on to one slide

When I think of a really good powerpoint presentation, it's important that it's not way too long. It should also be well designed, with good visuals to go along with brief text. The powerpoint should not be the whole presentation itself but simply an asset to sum up the important pieces of information.
